Directions to Dunns Creek State Park

 

If you are coming from the north such as Jacksonville, take Hwy 17 south out of Palatka continue on Hwy 17 south thru the small communities of San Mateo and Satsuma. Approximately 3 miles south of Satsuma you will first see the walking path signs of Dunns Creek State Park called Blue Pond. Just past this sign turn left on Sisco Road and travel approximately 2 miles. The entrance to the state park will be on your left. Look for a sign and rail fencing to turn into the park entrance. Piney Bluff Landing, including the day-use area, public restrooms, trailhead for 4 blazed trails, picnic areas and grills, and the fishing and kayak launching dock are 3 miles at the end of the paved road.

 

Coming from the south such as Daytona, take Hwy 17 north going thru the communities of Barberville, Pierson, Seville, Crescent City, and Pomona Park. Approximately 2 miles north of Pomona Park, Sisco Road will turn to your right.  Travel about 2 miles and the park entrance is on your left.  Look for the signs and the rail fencing.
