We invite you to attend the annual members’ meeting of the Friends of Dunns Creek State Park, Inc., at the Day Use Parking Area at Dunns Creek State Park on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 3 pm to 6 pm. We are very enthusiastic about the improvements and events for the Park in the coming year.

The meeting will begin at 3:00 pm with a cook-out to follow; hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks will be provided by Dunns Creek State Park CSO. Please bring a COVERED DISH to share and bring any of your friends who might be interested in joining our CSO.
v Terri Newmans, Park Manager will tell us about the things that are happening from the Florida Parks Service perspective!
v A behind the scenes wagon tour will be provided by OPS Ranger Steve Hale.
v A kayak paddle will be led by Sam Carr.
v We will review the past year’s activities and talk about new opportunities for the upcoming year. We had a very successful Equestrian Event in the Fall and Earth Day Festival in April. We have a great time providing Kayaking classes. We have raised more funds to help with the improvement of the Park.
We will also be taking care of CSO business at this meeting. There will be short messages from the President and Treasurer and a membership report. We will elect the new Board of Directors.
This is also the time to RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP, which is $10.00 per year per person, $20.00 per family, and $30.00 for a business. Membership generally runs from May to May but there are changes in the process. The Board of Directors meets the third Tuesday of the month at Ravine Gardens at 3:00 PM in Palatka. Members are encouraged to attend meetings and may contact any member of the Board with suggestions, comments, or concerns.
