2nd Annual Putnam County Earth Day Celebration

The Friends of Dunns Creek State Park are hosting the second annual Putnam County Earth Day Celebration!  

 

Enjoy live entertainment, nature tours, camping, and much more! There will also be free eco presentations by a variety of impressive environmental organizations, and games for kids. Food will be available for purchase during the event. Take the opportunity to explore the 6,330 acres of natural communities at the park!

Night Activities for Campers:

Proceeds from the event are used by the Friends of Dunns Creek State Park, a Citizen Support Organization (CSO), to assist in the maintenance and improvement of the Park.

Camping at Dunns Creek is only available during Special events, so claim your spot for Friday, April 21st and Saturday, April 22nd by registering on our event page (here). 

 

Check-in for campers begins Friday at noon; check-out is Sunday by 4 pm.  Primitive camping only - there is no drinking water or electricity provided.  Individual campfires are not permitted.  Pets are welcome and must be confined to a six foot leash or less at all times.

Entry for the event is the regular park entrance fees: $5.00 per vehicle (2-8 occupants); $4.00 per single occupant vehicle; $2.00 per pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass. Please use the honor box to pay fees. Correct change is required.

Primitive camping is available for $10 per night.
