Putnam County Earth Day at Dunns Creek State Park

The Friends of Dunns Creek State Park are hosting the first annual Putnam County Earth Day Celebration!  Enjoy live entertainment, nature tours, camping, and much more!  There will also be free eco presentations and games for kids.  Food will be available for purchase during the event.  Take the opportunity to explore the 6,330 acres of natural communities at the park!


Entry for the event is $5, priced at the regular park entrance fees, for up to 8 people. Primitive camping is available for $10 per night.

Proceeds from the event are used by the Friends of Dunns Creek State Park, a Citizen Support Organization (CSO), to assist in the maintenance and improvement of the Park.

Camping at Dunns Creek is only available during Special events, so claim your spot for Friday, April 22nd and Saturday, April 23rd by registering on our event page

Check-in for campers begins Friday at noon; check-out is Sunday by 4 pm.  Primitive camping only - there is no drinking water or electricity provided.  Individual campfires are not permitted.  Pets are welcome and must be confined to a six foot leash or less at all times.
